2. define diplomatic stances. from absolute peace to absolute war
- If Absolute Peace, we give ourselves to the alien civilizations and assimilate to their government structure.
- If Absolute War, we fight to our own death, to defeat the alien civilization.
- If Neutral-A, we trade, but we never betray the alien we designate as Neutral.
- If Neutral-Z, we trade, but we may betray the alien for our own gain.
3. Can you handle the existence of aliens
Some people have belief systems that may clash with aliens. Define the spectrum of how people will react.
4. What should we ask for
If they honor Trade, we should be able to ask them for anything. What is the best thing we can get from a trade with an advanced alien civilization? It could be data, a formula, a recipe, an invention, an explanation of something, a seed for a new plant or crop, a semi-conductor technology....anything.
5. What are we willing to give them
What are we willing to sacrifice, for the betterment of civilization? What if human lives can be traded for advanced technologies. Are we willing to make a deal or do we outlaw the trading of lives. (Have the life trading diplomatic option range from outlawed trading in a Neutral stance to Outlawed trading in a Peace stance, and so on.
